The Campo Quijano bypass is currently in its final stages of construction, designed to link routes 51 and 36. This important infrastructure project is funded by the mining sector and is being carried out by REMSa in collaboration with Vialidad de Salta.

The primary objective of the bypass is to redirect heavy vehicle traffic away from the urban area of Campo Quijano, enhancing safety and reducing congestion in the town. 

At this stage of the project, two bridges for sewage management are under construction, while work continues on the release of the trace and the fabrication of gabions.
